It tells the story of the chivalrous Ling Yao and the young master of a farming family, Ji Kuang, who, entrusted by General Mu Xun of Xugu Pass, break through the encirclement of enemy general Yan Shituo and overcome numerous hardships to reach the Kingdom of Junshan for reinforcements.
