Your data, on your terms.

What we store

When you use AnimeLegacy, the following personal data is created and tied to your account:

• Email address and authentication record (Firebase Auth).
• Every anime you add to your list, along with its status, progress, rating, and review.
• A timeline of changes you make to your list (status updates, ratings, reviews).
• Your username, bio, avatar (stored as a data URL inside your own user document).

Where it lives

All personal data is stored in Google Firestore (Firebase) under your user ID. Anime catalogue entries and global character favourite counters are shared across users and contain no personal data. No third-party analytics or trackers are used.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can at any time request:

• A copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate data (most fields you can already edit in your profile).
• Complete erasure of your account and all associated data.
• An export of your list and ratings in JSON format.
