Yichan Xiao Heshang

It tells the story of a young monk named Yichan, his master, and various people and events around them, through which he learns the principles of life, understanding the joys and sorrows, the resentment and separation from loved ones, and the frustrations of not getting what one desires, of the masses living in the world. It shows the world from the perspective of a young monk and explains the various principles of life through the words of an old monk.
