Inagaki is a detective of the Kanagawa Prefecture Police who holds the rank Sergent. The fact that his younger superior Toshikazu Chiba isn't afraid of "playing against the rules" is one of his problems. He is older than Toshikazu and doesn't hesitate to say it to him.
