The main character of the series. After the destruction of his hometown at the hands of the Demon Lord, Kail would end up joining the human resistance, and after one year, is able to lead a suicide squad to attack, and kill the Demon Lord at great cost. However, before succumbing to his injuries, Kail manages to touch a Divine Dragon's Heart artifact that the Demon Lord was protecting, and ends up traveling four years into the past; three years before the Demon Lord launched his invasion force into the lands of the other humanoid races.

Now with a chance to start over, Kail, along with a couple of his friends, depart from his home village in order to become legendary heroes that can help better prepare the human resistance for when the time comes that the Demon Lord launches his Great Invasion.
