A travelling romantic troubadour, Raphael is a friend of the Dandelion Troupe, and is the man that Sylvie is hopelessly in love with. However Raphael is the type of man to never stay in one place for very long, and Sylvie has a difficult time trying to confess to him. Raphael is very poetic and romantic and melancholy all at the same time. He sees everyone as having invisible wings that symbolize their heart, strength, and courage. He thinks Nadja has very beautiful wings. But as for him, he believes his wings are broken due to the loss of a great love in his life.
