Ruri is the descendant of the hero, who is on a journey to become a full-fledged hero.

Despite being a descendant of the Hero, Ruri failed to manifest her power and was frequently bullied by others as being a failure. Despite encouragement from her parents to walk her own path, Ruri considered herself a disappointment and struggled with her self-esteem.
