May can hide armed explosives in just about anything, and is therefore equally expert at finding and disarming bombs placed by others. She usually carries a variety grenades and explosives hidden about her person, ranging from harmless smokebombs to deadly fragmentation grenades.

May learned her trade from Ken Taki (a.k.a. Takizawa) a special effects expert and infamous bomb maker. He is a former mob hitman who has gone straight.
