Ash spoke to Cabernet in private about how compatible he was with his Pokémon. She was not at all impressed by any of them and shooed them away in disgust. Suddenly, Cilan and Iris interrupt the session to see what Ash is doing. Cabernet screams and points at Cilan as she recognizes him as a fellow Sommelier.

She challenges Cilan to a Pokémon battle and uses her Futachimaru and Sawsbuck while he uses Ishizumai and Pansage.
