Gintarou is a fox herald. His past is still partly unknown. Gin is often annoyed with Makoto and tends to act lazy around her but, really he truly cares for her and her emotions. It is hinted that he may have romantic feelings for her due to him blushing sometimes but, this might just be embarrassment. Gin runs his shrine alone because the other herald disappeared.
